A Hockey Visitor from Alaska '02/25/08
(Visited 3531 times)Filipino-American, Rudy Molina, visited the country for a vacation last month. He contacted me through my website last December and he was surprised to know that there is hockey here in the Philippines. He’s a Forward/Defense player from Alaska, playing for the U.S. Air Force Base Team here (the Elmendorf Eagles / Raptors). He wanted to try out ice hockey here so he brought in his gear. Anyways, he played some Fridays (with Bantam and Men’s team in Megamall), Saturdays (with Manila Ice Vixens in Megamall), and Mondays (with International / Expats / really good players in Mall of Asia). It was cool hanging out with him and exchanging ideas about hockey. Also, he made new friends with almost everyone at the rink hehe.. Oh btw, he donated cages and gloves too. Thanks for that, Rudy!
