About UGG
Ugg boots, also spelled ugh boots and ug boots, are a style of sheepskin boot, with wool as the inner lining and a tanned outer surface worn by both men and women. Ugg boots often have a synthetic sole, although this is not universal. Uggs are popular with the teenage set, worn by girls with mini skirts, leggings, and with jeans tucked into the boots. Ugg boots are also popular with boys, wearing jeans or tracksuit bottoms inside them most commonly. Manila Carabaos & HMCS Ottawa Friendly Game '06/10/08
(Visited 677 times)The Manila Mighty Carabaos and HMCS Ottawa Canadian Navy had a friendly game at the Mall of Asia last June 7 at 10am. They wore the same color of jersey, so its a little bit confusing. 1st period was so intense. Ottawa scored 2 in the first 15 minutes of the game. But we had high hopes for the home team, specially when Andre Gan of Manila team scored its first goal. The crowd, spectators, and supporters shouted and cheered for the Manila team. It was fun watching the crowd because I think it was their first time to watch a real hockey game here in the Philippines. They were curious to see how Filipino hockey players (who live in a tropical country) play against Canadian players (where they live and breathe ice hockey), whether the crowd know the rules and how hockey is played, or just there to support and cheer for the Carabaos. The crowd inspired the Manila players to play their best. And it paid off! Last period of the game was the most exciting part and they tied at 3-3. Then followed by hockey shootout. Manila scored 2 while Canada scored 1. Twas a 5-4 victory for the Manila team.
