World Ice Hockey 5’s 2007 is now over '06/20/07

Manila Ice Vixens didn’t win the World Ice Hockey 5’s 2007 this year, but we went home with pride. Considering that this was MIV’s first international competition, a lot of teams told us we did pretty well and that made us feel really good. We really had fun in HK. We made friends with almost all of the Women’s team like Japan Red Bullets, Malaysian Slayers, Macau Mystiks, Wndigos, Macau Asian All-Stars (Macau and Singapore) and HK WIHO Selects also with some other teams from International A, B and Asian A and B.

Hi Sharm, nice site! Nice to see more Asian team playing in the regional tournaments. You girls are quite good and I’m sure you’ll get better with each tournament. Your guys totally kicked our asses. Too bad that they had to play Taipei again in the Semis. Maybe 1 day you guys can organize a tournament in Manila, would love to play in the big rinks.
Anyway, you can check out some of our photos of HK in our gallery if you like. www.singaporeblizzards.com
Good luck with hockey over there!

Hi Lester, thanks for checking out my site. We gave our best this year and hopefully we’ll be better next time. Last year, playing with Singapore Blizzards was really tough and your team played really good.

Actually, we have a hockey league in October, unfortunately it has the same date with Bangkok tourney. So, I don’t know if the league will push through. I’ll let you know the details re hockey tourney here soon.

Cool hockey site you got there. Anyways, hope to see you soon and regards to your team on behalf of Manila Ice Vixens.

Thanks for stopping by my site…unfortunately I didn’t have any pictures of your team playing. I was only there for 3 games on the final day.

Thanks for keeping hockey alive in Asia!

Go Canucks!

Hi GZ (can I call you this?),

No worries! We love ice hockey. We’ll definitely join more tourneys soon. Thanks and hope to see you in our future games.
